Summer Engagement in Columbus

Liz & Ryan’s German Village Engagement | Amanda Lauren Collective

This summer engagement in Columbus was tricky. It was hot out and we had storms rolling in. As we drove to Schiller Park in German Village we were racing the rain there. Thankfully when we arrived the sun had popped out but we knew we only had a short amount of time to work with before the skies opened up again.

Liz and Ryan are getting married in March so they knew they wanted a Spring or Summer engagement. They wanted full trees and flowers in bloom for their engagement session. Since they knew their wedding portraits would be the complete opposite with it being at the end of Winter.

Since we knew we did not have a lot of time to work with we stuck to Schiller Park and the streets immediately surrounding the park. Surprisingly we even had enough time for a quick outfit change before the rain came. I give all the credit to them for working through my posing so quickly, they seemed like professionals.

I’ve said it before and if you look at my pasts posts you will see that my couples agree, if you are considering a summer engagement in Columbus, Schiller Park should be at the top of your list of places to consider.
